Anant Ambani wedding traffic restrictions have been announced! Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding to take place on July 12 2024 at Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex. Many important people from India and other countries are expected to come. 

Because of this, the traffic will be controlled in the area —— announced Mumbai Traffic Police on social media. 

The wedding party will be held at the Jio World Convention Centre. It will last for four days, from July 12th to 15th. Each day, the events will run from 1 in the afternoon until midnight. Only people with invitations can attend.

The wedding will be at a place called the Jio World Convention Centre. This building is in an important business area of Mumbai called Bandra Kurla Complex where the special decorations are being made. 

As the event is happening from July 12th to 15th, 2024, Mumbai Police have set up special rules for driving around the Jio World Convention Centre area to ensure a smooth traffic flow. These traffic restrictions for Ambani wedding are designed to manage the expected increase of vehicles.

Restricted Routes:

As part of the Anant Ambani wedding traffic restrictions, vehicles won’t be allowed to enter Kurla MTNL through
  • Laxmi Tower Junction 
  • Dhirubhai Ambani Square Avenue Lane 3
  • Indian Oil Petrol Pump 
  • Diamond Junction 
  • Hotel Trident

Alternative Route: For Vehicles From One BKC

  1. Reach Laxmi Tower Junction, turn left
  2. Go through Diamond Gate No. 8
  3. At NABARD Junction, turn right
  4. This takes you to Diamond Junction
  5. From there, keep going to BKC
  6. You can go either through Dhirubhai Ambani Square or the Indian Oil Petrol Pump

Traffic Diversions Around Dhirubhai Ambani Square Avenue

As part of Anant Ambani wedding traffic restrictions, If you’re coming from Kurla, you can’t drive into Dhirubhai Ambani Square Avenue or to the Indian Oil Petrol Pump.

Vehicles are not allowed to go towards the BKC Connector bridge from these 3 places:

  • MTNL Junction
  • Platina Junction
  • Diamond Junction

Also, if you’re coming from Bharat Nagar, We Work, One BKC, and Godrej BKC you can’t drive towards: 

  • The American Consulate
  • MTNL Junction

Specifically, you can’t use the road that goes past Gate No. 23 of the Jio World Convention Centre.

Traffic Restrictions Near MTNL Junction

As part of the traffic restrictions for Ambani wedding, If you’re at MTNL Junction, you can’t drive towards these places:
  • Signature Building
  • Sun Tech Building
  • American Consulate
  • Jio World Convention Centre
  • BKC Connector

The police made these rules to help traffic move better during the big wedding. They want to ensure smooth traffic flow while so many important people are in town for the wedding. 

The Ambani wedding traffic restrictions in Mumbai to cover a large area around the venue. Hence, if you’re driving in Mumbai, plan your trip carefully and try using different routes if you can.
