Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad has a new way to help tired passengers. The Hyderabad Airport introduces resting pods for passengers. These small, cosy spaces are perfect for travellers who have long waits between flights.

The pods, set up by JPOD Hotels Pvt Ltd, at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport give passengers a quiet place to rest without leaving the airport. They’re designed to be comfortable and easy on the wallet. Travellers can use these pods not only to rest but to work or sleep.

Resting Pods For Passengers: Key Highlights

1. Rest Right At The Terminal: No more worrying about missing your flight! These pods are right inside the airport, so you can rest easily without leaving the terminal or booking a hotel.

2. Pods For Everyone: Flying or not, everyone is invited. Yes, It’s not just for passengers anymore!

3. Various Pod Options: There are 6 cosy spots for pairs, 8 women-only pods for extra privacy, and 1 special pod for travellers with disabilities.

4. Easy On Your Wallet: Rest at the Hyderabad Airport without breaking the bank! It’s 500 rupees per hour. And if you want to stay longer, it costs around 1,400 rupees for 3 hours.

Pods Across The Globe!

While Hyderabad’s airport recently made headlines for its new rest areas, it’s not alone. Several airports across the globe have installed these pods to help travellers.
  • New Delhi

At Indira Gandhi International Airport; Terminal 3, passengers can now rent snooze pods for a quick nap. These mini-rooms come with comfy beds, TVs, and Wi-Fi to help you relax between flights.

  • Mumbai

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, Terminal 2 has introduced “Snooze at My Place” pods. These rest areas feature beds, soft lighting for reading, and spots to charge your devices.

  • Dubai

With its “Sleep ‘n Fly” options in Terminal 3, travellers can choose between single pods or larger cabins perfect for families.

  • Doha

At Hamad International Airport, quiet rooms offer a peaceful retreat. Their sleep pods come equipped with beds and charging points.

  • Singapore

Singapore Changi Airport takes airport hotels to the next level with YOTELAIR in Terminal 1. These rentable cabins go beyond just beds, offering showers and Wi-Fi.

As air travel continues to grow, we may see even more airports adopting this passenger-friendly feature in the future.

In Ladakh, find the perfect blend of culture, adventure, and serenity. December last year I decided that my next trip would be Ladakh but didn’t know how to go about it. I knew I wanted to travel in a group, as I had prior experiences of traveling in a group but wanted an organiser I could trust. Ladakh isn’t like other destinations wherein you need some instructions due to the high altitudes.

The place was very beautiful and the quality of service was top-notch, the itinerary was very good and the quality of transportation and stays were very good. Had an awesome time there and made some good friends as well. Lastly, our trip captains Priyasha and Rachit managed the entire trip very well and were so fun and made our trip an experience worth remembering.
