Because of the continuous conflicts in the region, with Israel as its center, it was a no-go place for tourists, but finally, after 7 months, Israel Opens For Tourism.

There was a continuous conflict between Iran and Israel, causing low tourist arrival, and all the flights to Tel Aviv city were suspended. After the attack of Oct 7 2023 in the Gaza area, Air India suspended flights to Tel Aviv, but resumed on March 3, and again suspended on April 14 due to conflicts.

But recently Israel has announced that from May 16, Israel opens for tourism, airlines will gradually take the pace, and Air India will fly nonstop between Delhi and Tel Aviv five times a week.

Israel Tourism’s Deputy DG & Marketing Administration, Pini Shani said, now that Israel opens for tourism, we will see tourism getting back to normal in the country. All the airports are fully functional and most of the tourism-oriented cities like Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, and Dead Sea are active day and night. He also highlighted that the “Safety of Tourists is a top priority,” and all tourist places are completely safe now.

Despite recent challenges, now Israel Opens for Tourism, Israel Tourism’s Marketing Director encouraged tourists to be a part of their tourism and extended a warm welcome for Indian travellers to experience the country’s rich heritage, beauty, and hospitality.

The decision that Israel opens for tourism, can be considered a very important step towards the nation’s recovery from its sufferings. The tourism industry is feeling hopeful again. People are again travelling to visit Israel’s historic places and cities. This is going to help Israel’s economy grow and will also promote understanding among different countries.
