A colorful beautiful temple honoring the warrior Goddess – Durga, the Devi Talab Mandir, is said to be around 200 years old. This is also one of India’s 51 Shakti Pithas, holy places sanctified to the scattered body parts of Goddess Sati and also revered for their cosmic energies. With hundreds of devotees assembling at this location every year, especially during Hindu festivals, the sacred place becomes a sight to behold.

The structure has undergone some renovation and incorporates a blend of old and new architectural styles. Location: The Wonderland Theme Park is located about 6km from the Jalandhar bus terminus and 8 km from the railway station on Nakodar Road.

Timings: The water park is closed during the winter and remains open for the remainder of the year. The park is open all days of the week. The Dry Park is open from 9 am to 10 pm while the Water Park is open from 12 pm to 8 pm.

Entry fees: Children below 3 feet have free entry. There are two types of passes for entering the park. There is the yearly pas which costs INR 1200 per head. With this pass, the user can enter the park twice at any time of the year.  There is the Economy pass which costs INR 950 for access to both the Water and Dry parks.

Best time to visit: Summer is the best time to visit Wonderland to let off some steam.

The Gurudwara Talhan Sahib Ji is a revered shrine among the Sikhs and is located in Talhan, Jalandhar in the Indian State of Punjab. The shrine is dedicated to the Sikh Guru, Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji who is said to have visited the place during his travels in the region. It is believed that Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji met with Bhai Gurdas, one of the most prominent Sikh scholars of his time.

With a traditional Sikh architectural style, the gurudwara is adorned with white marble and sandstone walls with beautiful and intricate carvings. The main entrance is a double-storeyed structure and has a dome-shaped top. The interior is quite spacious and devotees come here to worship and seek blessings.

Location: The Gurudwara Talhan Sahib is located about 12 km away from Jalandhar city and you can reach this location by taking the National Highway No. 1.
