The two beauties of the trek

Tarsar Lake is a beautiful almond-shaped lake situated 20 km to the east of the Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir and spans about 2 km in length and 0.8 km in breadth. The lake is separated by a mountain from another lake – the Marsar Lake.

During the winter Tarsar Lake is covered by heavy snow where the lake freezes over. Even during the summers, you may get to witness floating ice.
