These increasing numbers has given rise to the highest births of twin babies in Kerala. 

Not only the twin babies in Kerala increased in numbers because of Kodinhi Twins Village, but this village has now been added to the Guinness Book of World Records for having the second highest number of twins on Earth followed by Igbo-Ora in Nigeria. 

As per the records, the number of twin babies in Kerala has been rising since 1949 and has increased significantly in the last 3 generations. The twin sisters then conducted a mini survey and found out that there were a total of 25 other similar pairs of twins in their school. They couldn’t contain her amazement and promptly reported this discovery to her teacher.

Then the rippling effect followed from the classroom to the village panchayat. This revelation sent shockwaves through the panchayat (village council) and ignited a wave of curiosity. The locals then started noticing the birth pattern and soon the word spread from village to state to the country and finally the entire world knew about  Kodinhi Twins Village, Kerala.

This unique phenomenon stunned all the scientists, researchers and doctors around the world.
