We’re excited to announce that WanderOn has raised ₹54 Cr in our Series A round, led by DSG Consumer Partners and CAAF. This is one of the largest institutional fundraises in India’s experiential travel space.

For us, it reinforces a simple idea we’ve always built toward: that the most meaningful journeys are shaped by people and experiences, not just places.

With this funding, we’re ready to accelerate WanderOn’s global footprint, develop new experience-led travel formats, and deepen our technology and community ecosystem, all with the goal of making trip planning easier, more social, and thoughtfully curated.

Backed by Belief

That shared vision is also what brought the right partners into this journey. In DSG Consumer Partners and Client Associates Alternate Fund (CAAF), we found investors who believe in building consumer-first businesses with long-term impact.

Reflecting on WanderOn’s journey, the investors from DSG Consumer Brand quoted, “The WanderOn team has demonstrated a strong understanding of shifting consumer behavior, where experiences are becoming more important than possessions. Commenting on the investment, Client Associates Alternate Fund (CAAF) added, “WanderOn has built a differentiated experiential travel platform by understanding what the new age traveler values: authenticity, social connection, and hassle-free execution. The company’s strong growth and engaged community position it well to play a defining role in how experiential travel evolves in India.”

What Makes This Milestone Special?

It’s the journey that led up to it.

A group of engineers from NIT Kurukshetra who loved to travel started the company with one simple goal: to change how traditional group tours feel. They wanted to create trips where people could travel together comfortably, connect with each other naturally, and experience more than just the surface of the places they visited.

What started with small weekend trips gradually grew into curating journeys across 40+ domestic and international destinations. Today, we offer everything from European routes and Northern Lights experiences to long-haul trips based on adventure and events round the globe.

“There’s a common assumption that the present generation only wants to spend on flashy, material things, but what we’ve seen is quite the opposite,” says Govind Gaur, CEO of WanderOn. “Young travelers are making conscious choices to spend on real, authentic experiences. For many, travel has become part of their lifestyle, not just a break from routine.”

According to him, this thought shaped our foundation by creating a space where like-minded people could connect over shared adventures, at a time when travelers are most open and truly themselves.

More than 1 lakh travellers have traveled with us so far, with a significant number choosing to travel again. This repeat trust has been a key driver of our popularity and is frequently echoed in WanderOn reviews, where travellers speak about the sense of community, planning, and the personal connections formed on trips.

A Changing Relationship With Travel

What began as an instinct is today visible across how people choose to travel.
