According to reports, the facility is being provided at IGI Terminal 3, where the passengers have to go through a three-step registration process, and they can use the Digiyatra facility.
Passengers will have to get their face and boarding pass scanned and provide valid identity proof. Once the registration has been completed successfully, passengers can travel hassle-free at the boarding point and the security checks.
This facility has been introduced for people who are not very familiar with technology, so they can also have a faster and smoother check-in process at the airport, allowing people to spend more time with their family and friends.
The idea has been introduced to have a hassle-free and contactless process.
