Left home with a feeling of fear and exhilaration as a solo traveller but soon after our first lunch at D9 I knew something beautiful is avout to unfold. An amazing bunch of fellow travellers, an awesome trip leader and Wanderon family that took care of everything else - Good food and hotels (Cherapunji being my favourite property ❤️) jungle safari, camping, cliff jumping, boating, trekking, amazing playlist throughout the trip 🎵 and an unexpected New year party to top it all, beautiful start to the new year 🎊 what more should one expect in a package of 6 days 😇 Gratitude to all who were involved in making this a memorable experience ☺️❤️ Special mention for the one who kept us all together Captain "Vedansh Patel" 🤠 His energy and positive vibe rubbed off on each one of us on this trip. I opted for the Meghalaya with kaziranga package with wanderon in dec 24, to celebrate new year 2025. For the first time I wanted to travel solo, but also wanted to be a part of a group where I can meet new like minded fellow travellers, this is where wanderOn came into the picture. I carefully vetted all my options including justwravel, capture.a.trip, etc, each of them were amazing however, based on reviews and user base I decided to go ahead with wanderOn and man am I happy I made the right decision. Before going on about the trip let me go through the booking process experience. Booking process is pretty smooth, you fill the form, wanderon execs contact you, pay the token amount and rest 10 days before the trip. Credit card option is also there. Coming to the trip, the entire trip went flawless without any hiccups, from picking us up at the airport to travelling to all sightseeing spots, to checking in to the hotels. Not even once we had to wait anywhere because of any goof up from wander on. Even minute details like stopping at the right restaurants at the right time was managed well by the trip captain. I have been on trips through travel agencies so I am very much aware how easy it is to goof up hotel bookings or provide substandard hotels but wanderOn did not dissapoint in this regard. The choice of hotels/resorts at all places was good as well, it was pretty much the best you can find at those places other than luxury hotels like radisson. Here are the names of the stays at each place and some details, if you want to know more - Coming to our trip captain - Vedansh Patel. Absolutely amazed by this guy. Vedansh is a perfect blend of professionalism with fun. He participated in every single fun activity with us and he himself had a blast but when it came to his responsibilities never once did I find him slacking.

As this was my first solo travel, I sought a blend of serenity, exploration, and seamless experiences, and Wander On delivered on all fronts. From the moment the trip started, and to the very end, it has been a new experience each day, be it the skyline in Mcleodganj, the cycling and paragliding in Bir, trekking to Rudranag amongst many. My personal favourite was Bir among all the locations.
