Indonesia May Soon Offer Visa-Free Entry to Indians

Indonesia may soon offer visa-free entry to citizens from 20 countries, including the United States, Australia, Germany, South Korea, China, and, of course, India.

This initiative is going to be a part of the stimulating tourism program to provide a boost to the economy. So, anyone who is planning to visit Bali or any other place in Indonesia, there is good news for you all.

Indonesia’s tourism minister has stated that if all goes as planned, the list of the countries that will be eligible for visa-free entry will be finalised within the next month.

According to the pre-pandemic statistics from 2019, it can be seen that Indonesia witnessed a total of 16 million foreign visitors. This year, from January to October, the country welcomed a total of 9.49 million visitors, which is a substantial increase of 124.3% compared to 2022.
