Keylong Market is present in the small town of Keylong which is situated at an altitude of  3440  m, in the state of Himachal Pradesh in Lahaul Valley. Keylong town is the administrative headquarters of Lahaul and Spiti Valley and is popularly known as the ‘Land of Monasteries’ because there are many medieval monasteries present here namely, Shashur Monastery which is 5 Kms from Keylong which was built in 17th century by Lama Deva Gyatso. Kardang Monastery was built in the 12th century and you can drive here via Tandi or you can hike via crossing a small footbridge over the river Bhaga. This is a major hub for the Lahaul region as this is the main Bus Depot connecting all other major tourist destinations. – From Manali: The distance between Manali and Keylong is approximately 120 km and it takes around 6 to 7 hours by road. The route passes through Rohtang Pass, one of the most mesmerizing and picturesque views of snow-capped peaks and lush valleys.

-From Leh: If you are traveling from the Ladakh region, you can reach Keylong via the Leh-Manali Highway. It is 350 km in distance and takes approximately 2 days, with an overnight stopover in Sarchu or Pang.

By Bus: State-owned buses and private deluxe coaches ply daily between Manali and Keylong during the summer months when the Rohtang Pass is open. 

By Private Vehicle: This is usually the best option to reach Keylong Market. You will find several rental agencies in Manali that offer vehicles for hire.

By Shared Taxi: One can also opt for shared taxis which are a popular mode of transportation for those looking for a more cost-effective and convenient option. You can find shared taxis departing from the Manali bus stand or taxi stand, which operate on a first-come, first-served basis.
