This 7-day classic Spiti circuit from Delhi remains one of the most rewarding road trips in the Himalayas, and for good reason. In just over a week, you'll travel from the green valleys of Shimla and Kinnaur to the stark landscapes of Spiti, covering iconic villages, centuries-old monasteries, high mountain roads, and the turquoise waters of Chandratal along the way.

Ideal for travellers who want to experience the region in its entirety, this route combines remote villages, ancient monasteries, dramatic roads, and unforgettable nights under the stars.

The experience begins in the charming valleys of Kinnaur, with time in Chitkul, India's last inhabited village near the Indo-Tibetan border, and Kalpa, known for its spectacular views of the Kinnaur Kailash range.

As the road climbs higher, you'll enter the heart of Spiti, where thousand-year-old monasteries, remote Himalayan settlements, and vast cold-desert landscapes create a setting unlike anywhere else in the country.

From exploring Key Monastery and crossing the dramatic Chicham Bridge to visiting Komic, Hikkim, and Langza, every day offers something distinctly Spitian.

One of the biggest highlights of this Spiti Valley road trip from Delhi is the overnight camp stay near Chandratal. Watching the Moon Lake shift shades through the day and stepping out beneath a sky scattered with countless stars is the kind of mountain moment travellers talk about long after the trip ends.

Combined with Old Manali's café culture, scenic Himalayan drives, and some of the region's most iconic landmarks, this Spiti Valley circuit tour offers a well-rounded mix of adventure, culture, and landscapes in a single Himalayan getaway.
