The most awaited cultural festival, the Taj Mohatsav, is just around the corner and is set to be organised from 18th February to 27th February at Shilpgram, near the Taj Mahal, Agra.

Agra is known for its historical significance and its cultural vibrancy, honouring the love of Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan for his wife, Mumtaz Mahal. The Taj Mahotsav pays homage to the love they shared while also showcasing the rich culture of India.

The Taj Mahotsav lasts for 10 days and features talented artists, culinary experts, and some local performers of Uttar Pradesh. Artists from various places add to the essence of this festival and actively participate in this extravaganza.

The inaugural Taj Mohatsav took place in 1992, and this year, it will mark the 32nd edition.

This event, which features an annual Mughal-style procession and several folk performances, is organized every year by the Department of Tourism. From artisans to craftsmen, this event encapsulates the essence of all of India.

Date: 18th Feb to 27th Feb

Venue: Shilpgram, Agra, Uttar Pradesh

Entry Fee: Free for children below 5 and foreign tourists, and INR 50 for adults.

In Ladakh, find the perfect blend of culture, adventure, and serenity. December last year I decided that my next trip would be Ladakh but didn’t know how to go about it. I knew I wanted to travel in a group, as I had prior experiences of traveling in a group but wanted an organiser I could trust. Ladakh isn’t like other destinations wherein you need some instructions due to the high altitudes.

After an amazing trip to Tirthan with WanderOn, I decided to go to Manali-Jispa with them and yet again, the experience was worth every penny. The place was very beautiful and the quality of service was top-notch, the itinerary was very good and the quality of transportation and stays were very good. Had an awesome time there and made some good friends as well. Lastly, our trip captains Priyasha and Rachit managed the entire trip very well and were so fun and made our trip an experience worth remembering.
