Located in the rugged coastline of Nusa Dua, lies nature’s splendour which is a unique geological phenomenon, where massive waves crash against jagged rocks creating an explosion, a unique feature worth experiencing.

While Waterblow Bali is a highlight, it is just one of the Unique Experiences in Bali and your Balinese adventure doesn’t end there. Explore the island’s stunning beaches and hidden gems with Bali Trip Packages and plan your Bali Tour.

There is more to Bali than its picturesque sunsets, vibrant Nightlife in Bali and Adventure Activities in Bali. Bali is a tropical paradise with some amazing hidden gems and an abundance of nature’s bounty. One such feature is the Water Blow in Bali. A blowhole is a natural phenomenon where ocean waves funnel through narrow passes in the limestone cliffs before crashing on the cliff face, often erupting into spectacular displays of white water shooting 10 metres or more into the air.

The Water Blow in Bali, Nusa Dua is a spot where large waves from the Indian Ocean constantly crash against the jagged limestone edges of the cliff. It has a wooden observation deck built with benches where you can sit and wait for each wave. The Water Blow is a walkway out over the volcanic rock to observe the tide blowing through the natural rock formation.

The Water Blow in Bali area has a manicured shaded tropical garden all around. And you can even discover a small temple, Dalem Bas Tugel, overlooking a hidden bay in case you look closely enough. Don’t forget to have a look at the statue of Krishna and Arjuna. It is  massive and is placed in the centre of the parkland. There are also a number of warungs where you can pick up a snack before you head back home.

The best time to visit the water blow in Bali is during the day when the waves swell and hit the rocks, but during the day it might get a bit uncomfortable because of the heat. It is an excellent spot for photography and each one of them are Insta worthy. This place is also a perfect spot for viewing the sunrise with the Water Blow in Bali. Definitely a memorable moment worthy of capturing.

Also, it is recommended to visit during high tide since that is when all the actions take place, otherwise it is just another beach with waves crashing against the shore cliffs. Hence the best time to see such swells (sometimes reaching up to 30 metres high) is in July or August, when the tide is high. Please Note that the large surges can be dangerous, and there are no lifeguards around.
