Abu Dhabi Crowned The World’s Safest City for 8th Consecutive Year

Abu Dhabi is still the World’s safest city, keeping the title for 8 years in a row. This comes from two big reports: one by the Economist Intelligence Unit(EIU) and another by Numbeo for 2024. Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, is also rated the best place to live in the Middle East and North Africa.

On Numbeo’s Safety Index, Abu Dhabi got 88.2 points, which is very high. This shows it is one of the safest places in the world. The city also has a very low Crime Index score of just 11.8. These numbers mean Abu Dhabi is doing a great job keeping people safe.

The city has lots of places to get medical help which is 3,323 in total. This includes 67 hospitals and 1,068 drugstores. There are also 12,922 doctors working in the city, making Abu Dhabi one of the best healthcare systems in the world. Having such good medical care is a big reason why people consider living in Abu Dhabi so much.

Along with Abu Dhabi, other Gulf cities like Kuwait City, Doha, and Bahrain are all getting better rankings for being safe and nice places to live. Dubai is doing especially well and secured the second-best place to live in the UAE and is 5th world’s safest city.
