Incredibly alluring, pleasantly boisterous and wreathed in clouds - Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim, is one of the most popular hill stations in India. Lying at the height of 1650 m above sea level, the town during its bright sunny days offers spectacular views of Mt. Kanchenjunga. Gangtok is a base for adventure enthusiasts comprising of trekkers and campers to the Himalayan mountain ranges. During the months of March to Mid-May, blooming of wild Rhododendrons transform the surrounding regions in vast fields of colourful carpets.

Its name meaning hill-top, Gangtok can be safely said to be one of the most beautiful hill stations in the country. With everything in just the right amount from a blend of cultural identities to urbanisation, Gangtok is a breathing and dynamic bit of paradise of the northeast. Gangtok and its surrounding regions are abundant in natural beauty and have various natural attractions such as the Tsomgo Lake, Ban Jhakri falls, Tashi viewpoint and more. Other places to visit include many famous religious sites such as the Enchey Monastery, Ganesh Tok, Do Drul Chorten Rumtek Monastery, etc. Also, river Teesta is one of the best spots for white water rafting in North East India.

Pelling, a beautiful town in the West district of Sikkim, has become the second biggest tourist destination in Sikkim after Gangtok. Located 10 km from Geyzing and 130 km from Gangtok, the main attraction of the place is the breathtaking sight of the Khangchendzonga and the neighbouring peaks. The famous Pemayangste monastery is less than a kilometre from here and is a major tourist hotspot. Pelling also has sites for mountain biking, rock climbing, village tours, meditations, apart from serving as a base for a number of treks in the region. The scenic town of Pelling is a perfect holiday destination for all nature lovers and adventure enthusiasts.

Pelling, a beautiful petite town sited at a height of 6800ft was initially covered with wild thick forest which served as home to many indigenous wild animals of that period including Wildman( may not be yeti though). This ridge being situated in between two old Buddhist monasteries (Pemayangtse and Sangacholing) developed into a full-fledged village named Pelling. Today, Pelling is one of the best-chosen tourist hotspots in Sikkim. More than that, Pelling is the heart where all the breathtaking tourist spots of West Sikkim can be visited.

Jaw-dropping locales, mesmerising sunrises, the untouched beauty of the hills, the old-world charm of the past, and the welcoming smiles of the local people all add up to make Darjeeling one of the most beautiful hill stations in Eastern part of India. Spread over a steep mountain ridge, nestled amidst acres of lush green tea plantations, Darjeeling stands at the height of 2,050 meters above sea level, thus boasting of cool climes all year round. This scenic hill station is the perfect getaway for a romantic honeymoon and is just around 700 kilometres away from Kolkata.

A respite from the hot and humid summers of India, Darjeeling is a popular tourist destination in North-East India. Providing a heady mixture of splendid tea gardens on rolling mountain slopes, meandering toy train rides through the picturesque city, and delectable traditional Tibetan cuisine, Darjeeling works wonders to cater to the gorgeous panorama of the Himalayas.

There is a reason the city is known as the 'Queen of the Himalayas'. The lush green slopes dotted with women plucking tea leaves is a sight as mesmerising as no other. There are over 86 tea estates in Darjeeling that are responsible for producing the worldwide famous 'Darjeeling Tea'. Have a cup of locally brewed chai at the tea estate, or get down amidst the plantations to pluck a few tea leaves yourself, you are free to take your pick!

Day 1

Arrive at Bagdogra and transfer to Darjeeling

Pick-up from the airport and transfer to the Darjeeling.

Arrive Darjeeling, check-in to the hotel.

Rest of the day for leisure.

Overnight stay in Darjeeling

Day 2

Tiger Hill and local darjeeling full day sightseeing

Early morning tour to Tiger Hills (8364 Ft / 2550 Mts at around 4 AM) to view sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak.

On way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop.

After breakfast go for a half-day sightseeing of Japanese Temple, Peace pagoda, Padmaja Naidu.

Overnight stay in Hotel at Darjeeling.

Day 3

Darjeeling to Pelling transfer

After breakfast departure for Pelling.

En-route visiting the famous tourist places like Samdruptse Hill.

Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4

Local sightseeing of Pelling

After the breakfast, proceed for the local sightseeing.

You can opt to visit Rimbi Waterfalls and Kecheopalri Lake.

Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5

Transfer from Pelling to Gangtok

Post breakfast transfer from Pelling to Gangtok.

Arrive Gangtok, check-in to the hotel.

Rest of the day for leisure.

Overnight stay in Gangtok.

Day 6

Tsomo Lake and Baba Mandir Excursion

After breakfast, start for excursion to Baba Mandir & Tshangu Lake.

Situated at a height of 12400Ft / 3780 Mts, with an average depth of 50 ft.(In case of Land slide or any reason Tshangu Lake is closed we will provided alternate sightseeing)

The cool water of the Lake is perfectly attuned with the scenic beauty around.

Back to Gangtok after experiencing some amazing view.

Overnight stay in Hotel at Gangtok

Day 7

Gangtok sightseeing

Go for a full day sightseeing of Gangtok.

Visit Rumtek Monastery, Droul Chorthen, Research Institute of Tibetology, Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom & Enchey Monastery.

In evening spend some leisure time in Mall road and taste some local food in cafes.

Overnight stay in Gangtok.

Day 8

Drop to the airport

After breakfast checkout of the hotel and depart to Bagdogra.

Reach the Bagdogra Airport for your onward connection or way back home.
