A heaven on earth- Kashmir is what travel dreams are made off! Introducing our Kashmir Backpacking itinerary filled with adventure and leisure; making it a trip which in which you can enjoy the best of both worlds. We’re all well aware of the popularity of Kashmir and keeping that in mind we’ve formulated the best itinerary for you.
Kashmir is not only North India’s most popular destination but is quite famous amongst backpackers from all over the country.
We start our journey in the beautiful capital of Srinagar. A hub for leisure, you can spend your time here enjoying the houseboat accommodation and a shikara ride on the dal lake during the sunset. For some more adventure, we explore the city of Kashmir and also give you personal time and space to do so on your own!
Moving from Srinagar, Gulmarg is another sought after destination in Kashmir. With the snow clad mountains surrounding this valley, a ride on the gondola along is a must. You also get to visit the Affarwat peak.
After exploring the popular destination, we head out to explore the off beat destinations in Kashmir. On top of the list is Gurez. Once an important location on the ancient Silk Route, Gurez Valley now is the least explored tourist destination in this region. Here, we visit the last town of India on the Pakistan border- Tailal. Along with that we get to witness the beauty of Habba Khatoon Peak and Habba Khatoon Spring!
The journey doesn’t end until we visit the valley of Aru, Betab and Chandwari! These valleys are dotted with beautiful meadows where we can witness the lifestyle of Kashmiri nomads who still rely very much on grazing their cattle and horses on these meadows!
And of course how is a trip to Kashmir complete without visiting the Saffron field in Pampore and Awantipora! That’s definitely how we would like to explore Kashmir.

Itinerary

Day 1

Srinagar Arrival and local sightseeing I Overnight stay in houseboat

Arrive at Srinagar Airport, check in & overnight stay in the Houseboat.

Enjoy Local sightseeing in Srinagar including the Mughal gardens.

In the evening, we enjoy the famous Shikara ride on Dal lake during the sunset.

Enjoy a warm dinner at the end of the day.

Day 2

Srinagar to Gurez via Razdan Pass I Overnight stay in Gurez Valley

After breakfast, get ready to explore the least explored destination of Kashmir- Gurez.

Drive to Gurez via Razdan Pass.

In the evening, reach Gurez, check-in to the hotel & visit the famous Habba Khatoon Peak and Habba Khatoon spring.

Enjoy a scrumptious meal at the end of the day.

Day 3

Gurez Valley Exploration l Overnight stay in Gurez

After breakfast, we visited Tulail Valley, the last village of India.

Later in the evening we head back to Dawar.

Have your dinner in the hotel and overnight stay at Dawar.

Day 4

Gurez to Gulmarg I Overnight stay in Gulmarg

Post breakfast, we get ready to visit Gulmarg- Kashmir’s most popular destination (throughout the year) via Tangmarg.

Arrive at Gulmarg, check-in and spend the rest of the day enjoying around.

Have your dinner, Overnight stay in Gulmarg.

Day 5

Gondola Cable Car Ride | Gulmarg to Pahalgam I Overnight stay in Pahalgam

After breakfast, get ready for the Gondola Cable Car Ride.

Post lunch we will head to Pahalgam.

Reach Pahalgam, check in the hotel and rest for the entire evening.

Have your dinner & overnight stay in Pahalgam.

Day 6

Pahalgam to Srinagar, covering Betab valley | Overnight stay in Srinagar

Betab Valley, Chandanwari and Aru Valley are on the list of the day.

After visiting the valleys, we drive back to Srinagar and check into the Hotel.

Enjoy your Dinner and last night of the trip in the Hotel.

Day 7

Flyback From Srinagar to Hometown

Fly back from the Srinagar to your home destination with lots of memories!
