Arrive at the designated boarding point in Delhi by evening and meet our representative.

Board your Volvo bus and begin your Spiti Valley backpacking tour from Delhi.

Arrive in Shimla, freshen up, and begin your journey towards Chitkul.

The drive takes you through the charming hill towns of Kufri and Narkanda along the historic Hindustan-Tibet Highway.

Then, cross the iconic Kinnaur Gate, the rock-cut entrance that welcomes you into the Kinnaur Valley.

By evening, arrive in Chitkul, the last inhabited village near the Indo-Tibetan border, or Sangla, depending on your stay.

Check in, unwind after the long drive, and enjoy dinner.

Overnight stay in Chitkul/Sangla.

Wake up to the fresh mountain air and enjoy breakfast before checking out from Sangla.

Visit Chitkul, the last inhabited village near the Indo-Tibet border, known for its wooden houses and stunning Baspa Valley views.

Later, stop at Khab Sangam, where the Spiti and Sutlej rivers meet amidst dramatic mountain landscapes.

Continue towards Nako, passing through rugged Himalayan terrain and picturesque villages along the way.

Arrive in Nako by evening and settle into your stay.

Dinner and overnight stay in Nako.

Wake up in Nako (3,662 m) and enjoy breakfast amid the high-altitude landscapes of Kinnaur.

Begin your Spiti Valley backpacking trip towards Tabo, covering approximately 70 km through Spiti's rugged mountain terrain.

Pass through Lepcha, the official gateway to Spiti Valley, known for its surreal canyon views and winding roads.

Later, take a detour to Gue Village, home to the naturally preserved 500-year-old mummy of a Buddhist monk.

Enjoy spectacular views of barren mountains, deep gorges, and the Spiti River valley along the route.

Arrive in Tabo (3,280 m) by afternoon and settle into your hostel.

Overnight stay in Tabo.

After breakfast, visit the ancient Tabo Monastery, over 1,000 years old and often called the "Ajanta of the Himalayas."

Continue to Dhankar Monastery, dramatically perched on a cliff at an altitude of around 3,894 m.

Enjoy panoramic views of the Spiti and Pin River valleys from this historic former capital of Spiti.

Later, head towards Key Monastery (4,166 m), the largest and most iconic monastery in Spiti Valley.

Spend some time exploring its prayer halls, murals, and hilltop setting overlooking the valley below.

Later, we will stop at Chicham Bridge, one of Asia's highest suspension bridges spanning a deep mountain gorge.

Arrive in Kaza, check in to your hostel, and relax after a day of exploration.

Overnight stay in Kaza.

After breakfast, set out to explore some of the world's highest inhabited villages around Kaza.

Visit Hikkim (4,440 m), home to the world's highest post office, and send a postcard from this remote Himalayan village.

Continue to Komic (4,587 m), one of the highest motorable villages in the world, known for its breathtaking mountain setting.

Later, head to Langza, famous for its giant Buddha statue and breathtaking views of Chau Chau Kang Nilda peak.

Take a walk through the village and keep an eye out for marine fossils dating back millions of years.

Return to Kaza by evening and spend some time exploring the local market, cafés, and souvenir shops.

Overnight stay in Kaza.

After breakfast, check out and continue your Spiti Valley backpacking tour towards Kalpa.

Enjoy a scenic drive through deep gorges, river valleys, and some of the most stunning landscapes in the Himalayas.

Upon arrival, visit Reckong Peo, the commercial hub of Kinnaur, known for its local markets and views of the Kinner Kailash range.

Later, stop at the famous Suicide Point, a narrow cliffside stretch offering breathtaking views of the surrounding valleys and mountains.

Reach Kalpa (2,960 m) by evening and check in to your hostel.

If the weather is clear, enjoy stunning sunset views over the snow-capped Kinner Kailash peaks.

Overnight stay in Kalpa.

Enjoy your breakfast and check out of your hostel.

Board your transfer towards Shimla, passing pine forests, river valleys, and charming hillside towns.

As you arrive in Shimla and enjoy some time to freshen up before your departure.

Later, board your overnight Volvo to Delhi, bringing your Spiti backpacking trip to a memorable close.

Reach Delhi by morning and bid farewell to your fellow travelers.

Head home carrying beautiful memories of this cold desert, homestays, road drives, and new friends you made on the trip.
