Changi Airport Digital Passport: No More Physical Passports Required

Right now, they’re testing the Changi Airport biometrics passport system at Terminal 3, where special lanes have been set up. The good news is that by the end of 2024, this Singapore airport no physical passport system will be available at all of Changi’s terminals. Plus at Seletar Airport and the Marina Bay Cruise Centre.

Who Can Use Singapore’s New No-Passport System?

• Singapore citizens
• Permanent residents
• Long-term pass holders

If You’re A Foreign Visitor:

You can use it when leaving Singapore. But first, you need to stop at an immigration counter to manually register your:

• Face scan
• Eye scan
• Fingerprints

Note: Children under 6 years old can’t use this system. They need to go through regular immigration checks.
