Flight operations at Kolkata Airport have been halted from 6 PM on October 24 to 9 AM on October 25 due to Cyclone Dana in Kolkata. Flight operations at Kolkata Airport have been suspended from 6 PM October 24 to 9 AM October 25 due to a Cyclone in Kolkata. IndiGo Airlines has taken proactive steps to assist affected passengers:

Latest Cyclone Dana Updates: Cyclone Dana in Odisha gains strength and authorities have launched a massive safety operation across eastern India. Nearly 200 trains have been cancelled to prevent any accidents during the severe weather. Schools and colleges will remain shut in several districts of both Odisha and West Bengal.

Both states take strict precautions and the officials are working to protect residents and reduce possible damage as the cyclone in Kolkata and Odisha approaches.

Travel Alert: Ferry Services Stopped, Passengers Urged To Plan Ahead

All ferry services have been suspended across the Sunderbans region and Hooghly River due to the approaching cyclone. The shutdown affects both North and South 24 Parganas districts and Kolkata’s waterways.Ā 

Travellers are strongly advised to stay updated through airline apps and websites, as more cancellations are likely as weather conditions worsen.
