It is believed that Lord Ram came here during the exile of 14 years with his wife Sita and brother Lakshman. Then Sita became thirsty, and when Shri Ram did not get water, he pierced an arrow on earth. The earth immediately shed a stream of water. Sita blessed this waterfall, that it will always quench the thirst of people and animals. This stream is still flowing continuously today and it is known as Ram Falls or Ram Jharna. It is just 20 km from Kharsiya, it is a symbol of the faith.
