Best Andaman Group Tour Packages 2026

Some places are better with people around you, and the Andamans are one of them. White-sand beaches like Radhanagar, coral reefs off Havelock, slow evenings on Neil Island, and the history held in the Cellular Jail at Port Blair all land differently when there is a group around you. That feeling is what WanderOn’s Andaman group tour packages are designed around.
You travel as part of a small group, a little community of like-minded travelers, all there for the same islands. You share the ferry decks, take the dive boat at Havelock, and enjoy long seafood dinners after a day in the sun. Your trip captain handles the ferry bookings, the stays, and the timing so nobody is stuck planning. Our trips run year-round and start from ₹29,999 per person.
Most of our Andaman tour packages cover your stays, ferry transfer, the airport pickup at Port Blair, select meals, and sightseeing, with a trip captain throughout. Flights and personal spends are extra.
Our group departures, rated 4.9/5 on Google and TripAdvisor, are run by experienced individuals who know the islands and how to bring a group together, backed by over 9 years of experience and 500+ travellers.

Why Group Travellers Choose WanderOn For the Andamans

Here are the main reasons why travellers choose WanderOn to discover Andaman & Nicobar tourism through fixed-departure group trips.
  • Group Travel With People Who Actually Want To Travel: The Andamans are not a place to rush. WanderOn's Andaman group tour packages bring together a small group of solo travellers, couples, and friends who all want to slow down and actually explore the islands. You snorkel the same reefs, share the ferry decks, and end up at the same dinner table. By the time the group reaches Havelock or Neil Island, the people you started with are usually the ones you plan the next trip with.
  • Everything Covered Under One Booking: The islands run on ferries. Miss one and the whole day shifts. Our Andaman group tour packages sort all of it before you land: the ferries, the hotels, the sightseeing slots, and the transfers. The group spends its first morning in Port Blair at the Cellular Jail, not in a queue at the ferry counter.
  • A Trip Captain Who Knows The Islands: Ferry timings here are not always predictable. Weather changes. Plans shift. Every WanderOn Andaman group tour has a trip captain who has been through it all before. They know which beach is worth the early start and which food stall is worth the stop, and they keep the group moving without anyone feeling herded. First-time visitors often say this made the biggest difference.
  • Shared Costs, Lower Price: Booking the Andamans on your own gets expensive; ferries, permits, hotels on different islands, activities, and transfers all add up. Therefore, our budget-friendly Andaman group tour packages are booked as a group; those costs are shared, so the price usually works out lower than doing it alone. You still get the full experience, just without the planning stress.
  • Beyond Port Blair, The Islands That Most People Miss: Ross Island, Baratang Island, Limestone Caves, Mud Volcanoes, North Bay, and Jolly Buoy. There is a lot more to the Andamans than most people see. WanderOn's Andaman and Nicobar Islands group tour packages take the group past the usual Port Blair and Havelock route. The places that get left in most trips are often the ones the group talks about most on the way home.
  • No Surprises When You Book: With WanderOn's Andaman tour packages for group travel, you know exactly what the price covers before you book. Your stays, ferry transfers, meals, sightseeing, and trip captain are all listed. Flights and personal spends are not covered, however, can be bundled in at extra cost. No hidden charges at checkout, and no confusion later about what was included.
  • Join From Wherever You Are In India: Andaman group package departures connect major cities across India. If you are flying in from Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, or Kolkata, joining a WanderOn group is easy because everyone meets in Port Blair, and the trip starts from there.

Andaman Experiences Your Trip Captain Won't Let You Skip

Booking Andaman group tour packages means one thing: you spend your time actually seeing some of the best places to visit in Andaman instead of working out how to reach them. Beaches, coral reefs, island ferries, these are the experiences that turn up on every Andaman group tour we run, and for good reason.
1. Explore Port Blair's Landmarks and History: Most Andaman group tour packages start in Port Blair. The Cellular Jail, its evening Light and Sound Show, Corbyn's Cove Beach, Ross Island, Aberdeen Bazaar, and the Samudrika Marine Museum are all within reach.
2. Hop Between Havelock and Neil by Ferry: Island hopping is the best part of these trips. Our Andaman group tour packages come with the ferries and sightseeing already sorted. A quick ride on the Makruzz or Green Ocean ferry takes you from Port Blair across to Havelock and Neil. Havelock has Radhanagar Beach and Elephant Beach. Neil has Bharatpur Beach and the Natural Bridge.
3. Slow Down On Radhanagar And Andaman's Best Beaches: Radhanagar Beach, often ranked among Asia's finest, is the most popular of all the beaches in Andaman. Kalapathar is the spot for sunrise, Elephant Beach for snorkelling, Vijaynagar for a quiet walk, and Laxmanpur for sunset. Different beaches, different reasons to go. Spots like these are what make our Andaman group tour packages so easy to enjoy as a group.
4. Explore Baratang's Limestone Caves and Mud Volcanoes: Baratang feels like a different side of the Andamans. Getting here means an early start and a boat ride through dense mangrove creeks to reach the limestone caves, with the mud volcanoes and Parrot Island close by. It makes for a long day, which is exactly why doing it with a group is far easier than sorting it on your own.
5. Dive And Snorkel The Coral Reefs: The coral reefs are a big reason many travellers book the Andaman and Nicobar Islands group tour packages in the first place. You can scuba dive at Havelock, snorkel at North Bay, and do reef walks off Neil, all of it right in among the coral and the fish.
6. Try Water Sports At North Bay Island: North Bay is the activity hub. Sea walking, glass-bottom boat rides, jet skiing, parasailing, and banana boat rides all run here through the day, and they are some of the most popular things to do in Andaman. Going together keeps the per head cost less, which is a big reason why people choose Andaman tour packages.
7. Walk Through The Freedom Struggle History: The islands carry a heavy chapter of India's freedom struggle. The Cellular Jail, known as Kala Pani, and the colonial ruins on Ross Island tell the rest of the story. The Light and Sound Show at the jail featured on most Andaman group package itineraries, and it is the kind of evening most travellers do not forget.
8. Catch The Sunsets At Chidiya Tapu And Kalapathar: Chidiya Tapu is the place for sunsets, with sea eagles overhead and the water turning color as the light drops. Kalapathar is the best place to be for sunrise. Some Havelock itineraries also add night kayaking through bioluminescent water, an evening that you remember long after the trip ends.
9. Eat Your Way Through Local Andaman Food: Andaman food is all about the sea. Grilled fish, prawn curries, crab, and coconut dishes show up at beach shacks and small restaurants around Aberdeen Bazaar. Your trip captain knows which spots are worth stopping at.
10. Cover Several Islands On One Trip: Port Blair, Havelock, Neil, and Baratang, all in one trip. Stays, ferries, and sightseeing are sorted before the group lands. You spend your days on the islands, not figuring out how to get between them.

WanderOn Expert’s Verified Travel Tips For Your Andaman Group Trip

A little preparation goes a long way in the Andamans. Here are the travel tips for Andaman, our trip captains share with every group.
1. Visit at the Right Time: October to March is the best time. Clear skies, calm seas, and underwater visibility of 20 to 30 metres. Book early since hotels and flights fill up fast. April and May are quieter, slightly warmer, and easier on the budget. June to September is the monsoon, with heavy rain and choppy ferries; it's best to avoid it if it's your first time.
2. Book Ferries Early: Ferries like Makruzz, Green Ocean, and Nautika fill up fast in peak season. On a WanderOn group tour, this aspect is already sorted.
3. Carry a Valid Photo ID: Indian travellers only need a government-issued photo ID for the islands; no passport is required. Keep a couple of physical copies handy for hotel and ferry check-ins.
4. Expect Patchy Network: Mobile signal is decent in Port Blair but limited in Havelock and Neil. Data is slow across the islands. Inform your family and close friends in advance about your location and travel plans.
5. Keep Enough Cash: Most ATMs are in Port Blair and can run out during peak season. Cards do not work everywhere on the smaller islands. Carry enough cash before you leave Port Blair.
6. Pack Light And Beachy Ready: Light cottons, swimwear, flip-flops, a hat, and reef-safe sunscreen is all you need. Pack a light rain jacket, a dry bag for your phone, and motion-sickness tablets for the ferry crossings.
7. Know The Water Sports Rules: Beginners can visit most scuba diving and snorkeling locations without needing a certification. Skip a heavy meal beforehand, inform about any medical conditions, and do not fly within 18 to 24 hours before a dive.
8. Respect The Islands: Do not touch the coral and take your plastic back with you. On the Andaman Trunk Road through the Jarawa reserve, photography and contact with the tribe are not allowed. The islands stay the way they are only if visitors respect them by being a responsible traveler.
9. Travel Insurance Highly Recommended: Have a policy that will pay for medical treatment, flight delays and lost baggage. If you plan to scuba dive or try water sports in Havelock, check that those activities are covered too.
10. Follow Your Trip Captain's Lead: Your trip captain knows the islands well. They sort the ferries, book the activities, and know exactly where to eat in Port Blair and Havelock. Follow their lead and the trip takes care of itself.
