This mosque hasn’t become one of the top tourist attractions Moti Masjid in Bhopal Madhya Pradesh out of nowhere. All credit goes to its stunning architecture and heritage. The Moti Masjid is a beautiful symbol of Bhopal’s rich history. This mosque has a white marble facade with two small domes on top. The main building has two dark red towers, each with bright golden spikes. In Islam, these elegant minarets are often seen as a “call to pray.”

The mosque’s structure reflects the architectural traditions of that era. The design is predominantly Islamic, with sandstone used. The main prayer hall, crafted from white marble, features a beautifully decorated archway.

You’ll find two ablution tanks on either side of the gate, each with a marble fountain. These tanks are used for the ceremonial washing before prayers, a significant tradition in Islam. The central prayer hall is a true gem, almost like a real pearl. The entire mosque is built on a raised platform, with the prayer hall elevated even higher. Overall, the Moti Masjid masterfully combines excellent architectural techniques with decorative details.

In Ladakh, find the perfect blend of culture, adventure, and serenity. December last year I decided that my next trip would be Ladakh but didn’t know how to go about it. I knew I wanted to travel in a group, as I had prior experiences of traveling in a group but wanted an organiser I could trust. Ladakh isn’t like other destinations wherein you need some instructions due to the high altitudes.
