Taj-Ul Masajid is known as the Jama Masjid of Bhopal. It was built in 1874 by Shah Jahan Begum who was the first lady ruler of Bhopal. After its half construction, it came to a halt, for many reasons, but then in 1971, a guardian of the mosque decided to complete its construction, and by 1985, the mosque was finally completed.

About Moti Masjid Bhopal

One of the top tourist attractions Moti Masjid in Bhopal Madhya Pradesh, also known as Pearl Mosque is one of the iconic mosques of the city. This mosque might be smaller compared to the other grand mosques in the city, but from the sight of heritage, it’s equally important.

This historic gem was built in 1860 by Sikander Jehan Begum, daughter of Qudusiya Begum who built the famous Gohar Mahal of Bhopal. Sikander Begum lived a life making her own path, she ended slavery and supported women’s progress in the city.
