Since its establishment, the Pipliyapala Regional Park has become one of the most famous places for locals and tourists. According to a few stories from legends, it is said that the area of Pipliyapala region was developed as a water reservoir under the reign of Holkar’s dynasty, but as of now, there are no such contemporary resources to prove this fact whether it was developed under Holkar’s or not.

The regional park also consists of a children’s park where they can play their hearts out and enjoy every bit of their moment. The park has well-planned promenades and walkways around the lake and gardens. These pathways are designed for walking and provide access to other gardens of the park.
You will also find the regional park has a few designated areas for recreational activities such as boating, paddle boating, jet skiing, shikara riding, etc.
