History Of Ramnavami

According to Puranas, when the goodness begins to fade, Lord Vishnu decides to come to earth in human form - Rama.

The history of Ramnavami begins with the divine birth of Lord Rama in the ancient city of Ayodhya. Born to King Dasharatha and Queen Kausalya during the Treta Yuga, a time known for its virtue, Rama's life is a testament of righteousness and heroism.

The epic Ramayana, written by the sage Valmiki, tells the remarkable journey of Lord Rama, his devoted wife Sita, and his loyal companion Hanuman.

Their story is filled with extraordinary challenges – from Rama's forest exile to his epic battle against the demon king Ravana. Throughout these trials, Rama demonstrated extraordinary courage, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to dharma (righteousness).

Ram Navami celebrates the divine moment when Lord Rama descended to earth with a sacred mission: to destroy evil and establish righteousness. His life became a powerful inspiration for millions, showcasing the values of honour, sacrifice, and universal love.
