The Good news is that you don’t have to wait for a Big Fat Indian Wedding to opt for his artsy pieces. This lazy Tuesday afternoon, one of the most celebrated designers of the Indian fashion industry announced his collaboration with Hennes & Mauritz (H&M). Mukherjee was giving hints about something big but thinking about something this big was beyond the imagination of everyone. The Swedish giant collaborated with Sabyasachi for their new range ‘Wanderlust’. Under Sabyasachi x H&M label they will present specially created travel pieces for both men and women.

In an exclusive interview, the fashion maverick said that “Travel is the only way to grow your mind. It teaches you compassion, inclusivity, tolerance, and respect for what is outside your boundaries of living. And for a designer, it teaches you everything that books, schools, reviews, and Pinterest cannot.” Mukherjee also revealed that “This Sabyasachi x H&M collection will be available in the flagship stores and will also be available on Hm.com as well as Myntra from 16 April onwards. The collection will a fusion of modern and traditional silhouettes inspired by the clothing cultures of Morocco, Istanbul, Seville, Jodhpur, and city of joy Kolkata.
