When you hear the word Library, what is it that comes to your mind? An old building full of books, well, Ghoda Library is nothing like that.
As the name speaks for itself, Ghoda(Horse) Library includes a horse carrying books on his back.
Recently, Uttarakhand has been a victim of floods and other natural disasters, which has led to a great loss, including shutting down schools and colleges.
In remote areas, where life is already very tough, shutting down of educational institutions was a massive loss to young learners. So a young man Shubham Badhani, came up with the unique idea of Ghoda Library, where a horse will carry books and move from village to village, and will stop for people willing to read the book.
The idea was very well received, and now even when the schools are closed, kids have to access to books.
