UNESCO has called out to the government of Venice to take utmost care and address the problems that have been going on for a long time.
The weather in Venice has deteriorated the condition of the place as the city deals with the situation. In February, Venice witnessed a severe drought, which led to the drying up of some streams so that the Gondolas or water taxis could not pass through the canals.
In 2019, Venice also suffered a flood, and it is currently dealing with the problem of over-tourism.
