Besides the famous backwaters, elegant houseboats, ayurvedic treatments and delicately spiced, taste-bud-tingling cuisine, Kerala is home to wild elephants, exotic birds and the odd tiger, while vibrant traditions such as Kathakali, theyyam, temple festivals and snake-boat races frequently bring even the smallest villages to life.

Kerala is South India’s most serenely beautiful state. This slender coastal strip is defined by its layered landscape: almost 600km of glorious Arabian Sea coast and beaches; a languid network of glistening backwaters; and the spice- and tea-covered hills of the Western Ghats, dotted with fiercely protected wildlife reserves and cool hill stations such as Munnar. Just setting foot on this swath of soul-soothing, palm-shaded green will slow your subcontinental stride to a blissed-out amble. Kerala is a world away from the frenzy of India’s elsewhere, its long, fascinating backstory illuminated by historically evocative cities like Kochi (Cochin) and Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum).

Itinerary

Day 1

Cochin Airport to Munnar- Overnight stay at Munnar

Arrive at the Cochin Airport/ Railway Station and meet our Driver/Representative.

You will then board your transfers to Munnar - a popular hill station in Kerala.

On the way, we will take a short stopover at the cascading 7-tiered Cheeyyappara Waterfall & Valara Waterfall.

Reach Munnar, check in to the hotel and call it a day.

Day 2

Local Sightseeing In Munnar. Overnight stay in Munnar

Wake up to a beautiful morning in Munnar. Have your breakfast & get ready for the day.

We will start by visiting the Eravikulam National Park ( National Park is closed from 21st Jan to 15th April) which is a natural habitat of Nilgiri Tahr, the endangered mountain goat.

After having lunch in Munnar , we will visit the Tea museum to get an insight into the history of tea plantations and processing from ancient times till today.

Afterwards, we will stop at Photo point & drive through the scenic tea plantations to visit the Mattupetty Dam backed with green rolling hills.

Later, we will cover Echo point, Kundala Lake and spend some time in Blossoms Hydel Park (if time permits) before coming back to hotel.

Day 3

Munnar To Thekkady. Enjoy a Cultural Show.

Post breakfast in the morning, board your transfers to Thekkady.

Enjoy a 3 hr road journey to Thekkady through the western ghats.

Reach Thekkady, check in to the hotel and head out for sightseeing.

We will visit the picturesque Periyar Lake, located in the middle of Periyar National Park which is also a Tiger Reserve.

In the evening, you will enjoy a traditional dance performance at the Kadathanadan Kalari Center

Overnight stay in Thekkady.

Day 4

Thekkady to Alleppey Hotel. Overnight stay at Alleppey.

After Breakfast transfer to Alleppey – The Venice of East.

Enjoy your 4-5 hour road drive through the amazing landscapes of Kerala to Alleppey.

Check into hotel. later proceed for the sightseeing of Alleppey Town, Shopping Mullakkal temple, Jain Temple.

Optional Activities can be taken like boating in Alleppey back waters.

Overnight stay in Alleppey.

Day 5

Transfer from Alleppey to Cochin - Local sightseeing - Overnight stay at Cochin.

Post breakfast in the morning, get ready and board your transfers.

Reach Cochin, check-in to the hotel and later you are free to explore Cochin according to your interest.

You can visit Dutch Palace (Closed on Fridays), Jewish Synagogue (Closed on Saturdays & Jewish holidays), St. Francis church, Santa Cruz basilica, Chinese Fishing Nets as time permits

It is recommended to enjoy the picturesque sunset at Beach.

Overnight stay in Kochi.

Day 6

Cochin Airport Drop

After Breakfast , you can leave for Airport/Railway station as per your convenience.

our tour concludes once you are dropped off at Cochin Airport/ Railway Station for your onward journey.

Depart with a bag of happy memories.
