Overview & Highlights

Bagdogra/NJP - Gangtok - Lachen - Lachung - Yumthang Valley - Lachung - Gangtok - Darjeeling - Bagdogra/NJP
  • Few corners of India feel as untouched and quietly beautiful as the northeastern Himalayas. This North Sikkim tour package takes you deep into Sikkim's remote northern highlands and the warm, familiar charm of Darjeeling, two destinations that together offer a mix of raw wilderness, peaceful moments, and old-world character.

  • North Sikkim moves at its own pace. The journey takes you through Lachen and Lachung, two small mountain villages tucked into the higher reaches of Sikkim, each with its own personality. Lachen serves as the base for the early morning drive up to Gurudongmar Lake. At 17,800 feet, this is one of those places that is hard to describe until you are actually standing there, looking at turquoise water surrounded by snow-covered peaks in complete silence.

  • Lachung, on the other hand, is your gateway to Yumthang Valley, the Valley of Flowers, where wide open meadows and rhododendron forests stretch as far as you can see. This North Sikkim package with Darjeeling also takes you to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir, adding more beauty and meaning to the journey closer to Gangtok.

  • Then comes Darjeeling, where the hills soften, tea gardens cover every slope, and the toy train passes through like something out of an old story. Chowrasta is perfect for an easy evening walk, a hot cup of tea, and just taking it all in.

  • This North Sikkim Darjeeling trip balances adventure and calm across eight days in a way that stays with you long after you are back home.
