Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Hanoi | Half-Day City Tour | Vietnam New Year Group Tour

Arrive at Noi Bai International Airport, Hanoi, and complete the immigration formalities.

You will then board your transfer to your hotel for check-in and some rest.

In the afternoon, we will begin our city tour with a visit to Tran Quoc Pagoda, the oldest Buddhist temple in Hanoi, located on the peaceful West Lake.

We will then continue to the famous Train Street, where you can experience the thrill of seeing a railway pass through a narrow residential lane lined with cafes.

Next, we will visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, where you can learn about the life of Vietnam’s national leader, followed by a stop at the nearby One Pillar Pagoda, a unique lotus-shaped temple.

Our last stop for the day will be the Old Quarter Market, where you can shop for souvenirs and taste local street food.

Spend the rest of your time enjoying the lively atmosphere of Beer Street and the Hanoi Night Market during New Year in Vietnam.

Lastly, return to your hotel after the tour (as per your convenience) and call it a day.

Day 2

Excursion to Ha Long Bay | Luxury Cruise with Lunch

Wake up to a pleasant morning in Hanoi at the hotel.

After breakfast, we will head out for a day trip to Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Enjoy a scenic 3.5-hour drive through the Vietnamese countryside to reach Tuan Chau Marina.

Board your luxury day cruise and sail through the emerald waters surrounded by limestone islands.

Relish a delicious Vietnamese lunch on board while enjoying the stunning views.

After a memorable cruise experience, we will return to Tuan Chau Harbour and transfer back to Hanoi.

Overnight stay in Hanoi.

Day 3

Transfer from Hanoi to Da Nang. Day at Leisure.

Have your breakfast at the hotel in the morning and get ready for the day.

Today, you will proceed to the Hanoi airport for your flight to Da Nang.

Enjoy a scenic 1.5-hour flight journey to Da Nang.

Upon arrival, we will board our transfers to the hotel, where check-in is typically between 14:00 and 15:00.

You can then spend the rest of your day at leisure, wherein you can relax on the beaches, see the famous Golden Dragon Bridge, or explore local markets.

Overnight stay at your hotel in Da Nang.

Day 4

Full Day Trip to Marble Mountain, Hoi An Ancient Town and Lantern on Boat Tour.

After breakfast at the hotel, we will get ready for an exciting day.

At 9:00 AM, we will board our transfer to the Marble Mountains.

Upon arrival, we will climb Thuy Son (Water Mountain) using carved stone stairs to enjoy panoramic views.

Next, we will visit the Huyen Khong Cave, one of Da Nang’s most beautiful cave temples.

We will then explore the ancient pagodas: Tam Thai and Linh Ung.

In the main cave, we will admire the Cham Buddha under a natural shaft of light.

By 12:00 PM, we will visit the Am Phu Caves to see rock formations representing hell and purgatory.

In the afternoon, we will admire stone sculptures created by artisans at Non-Nuoc Village.

Later, we will enjoy the Coconut Boat Tour (Basket Boat Tour).

By evening, we will head to the UNESCO World Heritage town of Hoi An, one of the best places to experience New Year in Vietnam.

We will walk across the 17th-century Japanese Bridge, reflecting Japanese traders’ presence.

Next, we will visit the Chinese Assembly Halls and explore ancient houses or enjoy folk music.

Later, we will stroll through the market by the Thu Bon River and soak in Hoi An’s Oriental vibes.

You will have time to shop for lanterns or have silk clothes tailored.

In the evening, we will take a 15-20 minute boat ride past glowing flower lanterns.

You can also choose to release a flower lantern for the good luck of your family and loved ones.

After sightseeing, we will return to Da Nang.

Overnight stay at the hotel in Da Nang.

Day 5

Ba Na Hills Day Trip Golden Bridge, Fantasy Park & French Village

Wake up in your hotel in Da Nang and enjoy a hearty breakfast.

After breakfast, we will travel to Ba Na Hills near Da Nang.

Take a scenic cable car ride up the mountains to reach the summit.

Visit the famous Ba Na Hills Golden Bridge held by giant stone hands, and enjoy stunning views.

We will explore the French Village with its European-style architecture and churches.

Spend time at Fantasy Park, where you can enjoy fun games and activities.

You can also visit Linh Ung Pagoda and the beautiful gardens at Ba Na Hills.

Later, come down via cable car and return to your hotel in Da Nang.

Overnight stay in Da Nang.

Day 6

Transfer from Da Nang to Saigon | Day at Leisure

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Da Nang International Airport for your flight to Saigon.

Upon arrival, meet our representative and transfer to your hotel for check-in.

The rest of the day is free for you to explore Saigon at your own pace. You can relax at the hotel or step out to discover the vibrant streets of the city.

You can visit Nguyen Hue Walking Street, explore local markets, enjoy Vietnamese cafés, or admire the city’s colonial architecture.

In the evening, you can take a walk through the lively streets, experience the local food scene, or enjoy the city lights.

Overnight stay in Saigon.

Day 7

Explore Cu Chi Tunnels | Depart With A Lot Of Happy Memories

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and set out for a visit to the famous Cu Chi Tunnels.

Explore sections of this vast underground network used during the Vietnam War, including living areas, storage spaces, and hidden passageways.

Learn about the strategies and daily life of those who lived and operated within the tunnels.

Later, return to the city and proceed to the airport for your onward journey.

As your Vietnam New Year Group Tour comes to an end, take back memories of mountain peaks, bay cruises, and unforgettable experiences.

NOTES:
Normal Check-in and check-out times are 03:00 PM and 12:00 noon, respectively, in Vietnam. Early check-in with breakfast is available at an extra cost of 30 USD/ per person.
Airport transfer is at a fixed time (depending on the majority of arrival and departure times of the group) - Any early or late transfer will be charged extra.
The age limit of our group departures is 18 to 42 years due to the power-packed itineraries that we provide to our travellers. We can customise trips for travellers beyond the mentioned age bracket.
Every traveller is required to hold a valid passport with an expiry date at least 6 months after the date of entering Vietnam.
Travellers will have to book their return flights after 19:00 hrs from Ho Chi Minh.
Tour rates are calculated based on current fuel rates and may be revised if there is a sudden increase in fuel prices or an increase of 15% or above.
