1. Qila Mubarak Complex
Standing in the heart of the city since the 18th century, this structure holds great importance in Patiala’s glorious past. The royal ruler Baba Ala Singh started the construction of this fort and it was completed by his grandson Maharaja Amar Singh. The structure is a mesmerizing amalgamation of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. Many Bollywood movies have been shot at this location. It is considered one of the best places to visit in Patiala. The main attractions of the Qila are “Qila Androon” or the interior parts of the fort and Sheesh Mahal (Mirror palace).
