Delhi To Soon Start Its Haunted Walks Ahead of G20 Summit

Taking the horror game up a notch, Delhi Tourism Department is all set to drive mystery lovers crazy as it will soon be starting walks around Haunted Monuments after hours. The monuments  Malcha Mahal, Tughlaqabad Fort, Bhuli Bhatiyari and Feroz Shah Kotla will be a part of the pilot project of the Tourism Department. An official from the tourism department stated that they had received several responses from the people over the heritage walks, and some of them even asked for haunted monument walks as well. 

Heritage walks such as andwalks ahead of the G20 summit were launched, and now the idea of ghost walks and haunted walks is being explored by the department. After evaluating the response of the people, the department will be adding more monuments to these walks.

The walk will be approximately 2-3 Hours long, covering approximately 1.5- 2 km. One tourism official will be there, along with a certified guide/tour conductor, who will tell the history of the monuments as well as the haunted stories behind them. Once the walks are officially launched, people will be able to book their slots. Each group will consist of 20 members, who will have to pay 1000 rupees each, and they will also be provided with a haunted walk kit. The kit will consist of sticks, a jute bag, a torch, a seasonal fruit, muffins, a cap, a band, a badge, juice and a water bottle.
