The shivling placed in Shree Ghatarani Mandir’s premises has its own story. According to the legends, the area fishermen wanted to keep the Shivling with them. They started digging deep to take out the Shivling sculpture, but the Shivling was getting deeper and deeper into the hole. After a lot of trials, the fishermen gave up on moving the idol.
