If there is anything that people living in Noida dread, it is the travel time between Noida and Gurugram. Let’s face it, most people work in Gurugram and have to travel for hours every day just to reach their place of work and crib about it. Well, all those who are a victim of travelling from Noida to Gurgaon and then going back to Noida again, we have some really good news with you as the National Capital Region is all set to introduce a major infrastructural change in the Regional Rapid Transit System(RRTS) with a Gurgram to Greater Noida fast lane metro that will reduce the travelling time drastically.
Gurugram To Noida High-Speed Rail Corridor
Gurugram to Noida high-speed rail corridor will connect the key urban centres that will stretch from Rajiv Chowk to Noida Sector 142 and Surajpur in Greater Noida, with the main stop at the Bata Chowk in Faridabad, offering Gurugram to Noida fast lane and making transits easy. Covering a distance of approximately 60 km, the Gurugram-Greater Noida new RRTS will drastically reduce travel time, air pollution and obviously traffic congestion as well. There will be eight intermediate stations in its route and the project is expected to cost around INR 15000 Crore.
Once it starts operation, it will provide an alternative to congested roads, while offering a mode of conveyance that is reliable and less time-consuming for thousands of commuters who struggle to reach their work place every day.
