Brezel Fest In Goa 2024: Experience German Culture In Goa

Goa is hosting its first-ever German festival called Brezelfest, today on 7-November-2024. The Brezel Fest in Goa takes place at The Basein in Madgaon(South Goa). This one-day event takes inspiration from Germany’s popular Oktoberfest. Visitors can enjoy German beer, traditional food, music performances, and art workshops. The festival aims to bring a taste of German culture to this famous beach destination.

German Food And Beer Festival Debuts In Goa

At German Brezelfest in Goa, visitors can enjoy classic German dishes like pretzels, bratwurst, and schnitzel. Seven Rivers Brewing Co. will serve 600 litres of Munich Helles and 300 litres of German Pilsner beer, bringing a true taste of Germany to Goa.

Entertainment And Activities

A live band from Munich, Die Kirchdorfer Oktoberfest Band, will perform traditional German music. Visitors at German Brezelfest in Goa can also join various interesting workshops including crochet, block printing, and essential oil making.

Brezelfest Goa 2024: A Cultural Blend

Three South Goan businesswomen are behind this unique festival—– A baker named Andrea Thumshirn, an artist Ragini Dhingra, and a gardener Yogita Mehra. They aim to blend German traditions with Goa’s festive spirit, hoping to make Brezelfest an annual celebration that brings together both cultures.
