History Of Jagmandir Udaipur Rajasthan

Jagmandir Island Palace Udaipur has a long history that dates back to the early 17th century. It was constructed by Maharana Karan Singh II. The palace was later completed by his successor, Maharana Jagat Singh I, who named it Jagmandir in his honour. At that time, the Palace was like a summer resort for the royal family of Mewar.Its historical significance is like when Prince Khurram, who later became Emperor Shah Jahan, tried to find a refuge there.
