In 2007, the Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden was established by applying a vision to increase the number of tourists and develop a floriculture business in the Kashmir Valley. Strategically located at the foothills of the Zabarwan Range, the garden spans 30 hectares and offers beautiful views of Dal Lake to tourists. Seven tiered levels of the garden are carefully built to showcase an assortment of tulip species as well as their beautiful springtime color palette.
