The best time to visit Khardung Village is between May and September, when the weather is pleasant, with daytime temperatures ranging from 15°C to 30°C, and the roads are accessible. This period is ideal for sightseeing, trekking, and exploring the village's surroundings. However, please note that the region experiences heavy snowfall from October to March, which makes travelling during this season even more challenging and most passes and highways are closed due to heavy snow.

If you are the adventurous type and want to experience snowfall in Ladakh, then October to March is the best time to explore winters in Ladakh.
