The passenger Ellis Hebard was taking a regular flight with Frontier Airlines, and she didn’t have her passport with her because she had no intentions of leaving the country. She was directed to the wrong gate, she stated.
Ellis went to the restroom before getting onboard the plane, and there was a last-minute gate change of her flight, and when she came back, she boarded the wrong flight.
The Jamaican authority allowed her to stay in the Jet, stating that it was US soil only, and the flight crew accompanied her until she took the next flight to Philadelphia several hours later.
