After the successful Gondola in Gulmarg, Pahalgam is set to get its cable cars. The survey for the Gondola has been conducted, and now the approval is awaited. It has been mentioned that no trees will be cut during the process. The plan is to set up the cable cars in Pahalgam’s Anantnag, also known for its high altitude breathtaking landscapes.

Out of the four probable routes, the authorities will most likely go ahead with the Yatri Niwas Route, J&K Property of Tourism Development Corporation to Bai Saran which is a meadow surrounded by snow-capped mountains. The aerial length of the cable car ride will be 2 km.
