Our first find was the Pengempu Waterfall, just a short ride from Ubud. It might not be the biggest, but having the whole waterfall to ourselves for over an hour and a half was pure jungle bliss. The Pengempu Waterfall is located to the Northwest of Ubud, near the village of Sangeh. It’s a short 30 to 40-minute ride from Ubud, so you can easily add a visit to the Pengempu waterfall to your Ubud itinerary! You can also reach the waterfall easily from Canggu, and it will take you around 40 minutes to an hour to get there, depending on traffic.
