How To Reach Yarab Tso?

Starting your journey to Yarab Tso in the breathtaking cloud-covered valley of Ladakh is a trek like no other and truly worth every time. The first thing to do is to reach Leh, the hub of all Ladakh treks. From major cities like Delhi, Mumbai and Srinagar, it is the easiest and most convenient way to fly to Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport in Leh. Otherwise if you want to travel by road, you can travel from Manali or Srinagar. 

Both the Manali-Leh Highway and the Srinagar-Leh Highway are known for their spectacular mountains; Keep in mind, however, that it is accessible from May to October, and May to November. These trips can be long and arduous, usually lasting two days, so be prepared for an adventurous escape. 

Once you reach Leh, your next destination is the Nubra Valley, about 120 km away. The drive usually takes 5-6 hours and takes you through the scenic Khardung La Pass, which is one of the highest driving roads in the world. From Leh, you can opt for a shared bus or taxi to Diskit, the capital of the Nubra Valley. 

However, it is highly recommended to take a private taxi for maximum convenience and flexibility. The trip itself is a highlight of the experience with stunning scenery and plenty of picture-perfect moments along the way.
