It was populated by giant carnivores like leopards and tigers and herbivores like deer. Now, the Ralamandal Wildlife Sanctuary has a substantial green wall of over eight thousand trees planted to protect wild animals and birds from noise and air pollution due to nearby highways.
The central faunas that you will find in Ralamandal Wildlife Sanctuary Madhya Pradesh are Black Buck, which is a state animal of Punjab, Haryana, and Andhra Pradesh; Spotted Deers, commonly known as” Cheetals,” Chinkara, Blue bull, commonly known as “Nilagai,” Striped Hyenas, Wild Boars, Barking Deer, Fox, Porcupines, Jackals and many more. In Ralamandal Wildlife Sanctuary, you can observe the exotic bird species that migrate here from different countries during winter.
The flora species that you can observe in Ralamandal Wildlife Sanctuary are Rinjha, Palash, Khair, Ghatbor, Saaja, Aster, Babool, Chirol, Neem, Khajoor, Bamboo trees, Ber, etc.
As the Ralamandal Wildlife Sanctuary Madhya Pradesh is famous for bird watching and butterfly photography, the species you can observe are White Breasted Kingfisher, Coppersmith Barbet, Rose Ring Parakeet, Plum Headed Parakeet, Bay Backed Shrine, Black Drongo, Long Tailed Shrike, Golden Oriole, Magpie Robin, Honey Buzzards, Snake Eagle, White Bellid Drongo, Green Bea Eater, Spotted Dove, Laughing Dove and Peacocks

Here, more than 100 species of birds have been recorded. Whenever you visit this Sanctuary for bird watching, do not forget to bring your binoculars, camera, monoscope used for bird watching, and a field guide to identify those pretty bird species.
In the morning, you will find the streets filled with jewellery shops and traders; however, after dusk, it totally gets converted into a busy street food market. Here, you can taste local dishes such as jalebi, poha, and Bhutto ka kees and find shops that offer chaats with exotic sweet and spicy flavours.
It is a seven-storied building of stone and wood and a perfect example of Maratha, Mughal, and French Architecture. According to legend, the Rajawada Palace was constructed by the ruler Malhar Rao Holkar; hence, it is also known as Holkar Palace.
Another interesting fact about the Rajwada Palace is that the three floors are made of stone, and the above four floors are made of wooden construction, which demonstrates the Maratha style of architecture.
Whenever you visit the Gomatgiri temple, you will see the magnificent statue of Gomteshwara, which has a height of about 21 feet and is said to be the replica of the Bahubali statue of Shravanbelagola. The Gomatgiri area has 24 temples made up of marble that resemble the 24 Tirthankaras of the Jain religion.
The Gomatgiri is not just a spiritual place but one of the most beautiful tourist attractions in Indore, attracting visitors from all over the world.
You can immerse yourself in the lush greenery surrounded by the waterfall area and spend your time with your loved ones. Trekking, hiking, photography, and picnics are some activities at Patalpani waterfall.
