Everything You Need To Know About The Second Deepest Blue hole In The World

After the discovery of the world’s deepest blue hole, the Dragon Whole in South China Sea, which is 980 ft in depth; scientists have discovered another massive sinkhole in Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico, which is approximately 900 ft deep and is said to be bigger than cities. It is the second deepest blue hole in the world and has been believed to be formed during the ice age when the sea levels were way lower than the current level. This blue hole has been named as , which stands for “Deep Water” in Mayan. According to reports, the hole has steep sides with slopes that are almost 80 degrees.
