Maharashtra is building Seven Creek Bridges between Raigad and Sindhudurg districts. This project will make travel easier along the state’s coast and help the area grow.

Chief Minister Eknath Shinde started the work on these bridges. They’re part of a big road being built along the coast from Rewas to Redi.

Maharashtra’s Seven Creek Bridges

The bridges will cross over Seven Creeks namely:
  1. Dharmatar
  2. Kundalika
  3. Agardanda
  4. Bankot
  5. Kelsi
  6. Jaigad
  7. Kunkeshwar

All together, these bridges will be about 27 kilometres long. They will connect places that were hard to reach before.

This project should make life easier for people living in these coastal areas and could bring more business to the region.

Big Benefits From New Seven Creek Bridges

  • Faster Travel For Everyone

The new bridges will make trips between Raigad and Sindhudurg much quicker. This means better access to daily needs, improved connections to small towns and villages, and smoother movement of goods across the region.

  • Boost For Local Businesses

The Maharashtra Seven Creek Bridges project is expected to help grow the local economy, where farmers and craftspeople can reach more markets, small and medium businesses can expand and new job opportunities may open up.

  • More Tourists

The bridges could bring more visitors to the beautiful Konkan coast. There will be easier access to beaches and historical sites, and growth in hotels, and restaurants, resulting in overall economic growth for the whole area.

Maharashtra Seven Creek Bridges Project Budget

The Maharashtra government has given the approval to spend 7,851 crore rupees on these new bridges. This is a big investment for the state. The Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) is taking the lead on this project. They’re not new to this kind of work —– MSRDC is known for handling many important building projects across the state.

Overall, Seven Creek Bridges between Raigad and Sindhudurg will make life better for people living in the Konkan region by helping them in several ways.
