Tiger Hill Ladakh, also known as the Point 5062 or Surging Sea Hill, is a mountain in the Drass-Kargil area of Ladakh, India. It is surrounded by the Tolloling Range and other ridges ranging between 5,000-6,500 meters.
The hill overlooks the National Highway 1D, which serves as a gateway to the Siachen Glacier and connects Leh to Srinagar.
You can either view the Tiger Hill from the distant valley or climb it, and if one has plans to climb it, then he or she will truly witness the best panoramic views.
Neither the memorial nor the hills have an entrance fee. Tourists have to show ID proof to enter the memorial and the soldiers can check the documents anytime during your visit to the hill and memorial. There is no charge for cameras or video cameras.
