Capturing stunning photos on the Golden Hands Bridge at Ba Na Hills, exploring the streets of Hanoi and Hoi An Ancient Town, and soaking in the scenery of Tam Coc and Ha Long Bay: this is how Koustav and Mondira experienced their Vietnam couple trip with us.
Over eight days in April 2026, the couple’s Vietnam trip with WanderOn took them from Hanoi in the north to Danang on the central coast. Along the way, they joined a bicycle tour at Hoa Lu, enjoyed a sunset party on a Ha Long Bay cruise and rode a basket boat through the Coconut Forest. Their last sightseeing was a lantern boat in Hoi An. It was a lot of ground for eight days, yet both of them described the trip as smooth from start to finish.
Much of that ease was planned well before the flight, beginning with a conversation about what the two of them wanted from Vietnam. Here’s what their reviews say about how that conversation shaped the trip.
A Vietnam Trip for Couples, Customised Around Their Pace

Every Vietnam trip with WanderOn begins with a conversation. The couple spoke to a destination expert about the pace they wanted, how much adventure and how much rest, and what a Vietnam holiday together should feel like. The expert understood those requirements and customised the route around them. And we believe this is how a Vietnam tour package for couples is meant to work.
Both Vietnam trip reviews describe the result. Koustav’s review says the trip “didn’t feel like a cookie-cutter package at all”, and Mondira found the itinerary “balancing adventure, relaxation, and cultural experiences perfectly”, with every detail from accommodation to travel logistics handled with care.
The order of the days came from the same conversation. Ninh Binh, Ha Long Bay and Ba Na Hills began with early morning pickups, because popular stops fill up as the day goes on.
Day 2 stayed open after the evening arrival, so the couple could rest before the first tour. Day 5 was built around the Hanoi to Danang flight, and the Hoi An day began late after the long Ba Na Hills day, so the evening could belong to the lanterns.

Days 1 to 4: Hanoi, Ninh Binh and Ha Long Bay

The first evening in Hanoi asked nothing of the couple. They landed in the evening with a private pickup already waiting, so there was no taxi to hunt for and no directions to follow, only a ride to the hotel and a first look at the city after dark.
Day 2 held no tours and no fixed pickups, which left the whole day open to explore Hanoi at their own pace.
Day 3 started early, with a morning pickup for Ninh Binh. A shared limo bus carried them to Hoa Lu and Tam Coc, and from there the day was lived on 2 wheels, pedalling past limestone cliffs and village lanes. A bicycle tour is one of the best things to do in Vietnam for anyone who likes to take in the landscape slowly. The buffet lunch arrived midway, a long pause at the table to refuel and rest tired legs before the pedalling began again.
Day 4 was built for the water. After another early pickup, the couple boarded a luxury day cruise across Halong Bay in Vietnam, with a buffet lunch on board and a sunset party as the light faded. That awe-inspiring experience stayed with Koustav, who wrote in his Google review about “the emerald waters of Ha Long Bay”. The kayaking gave the couple an unforgettable memory and a chance to experience those waters up close.
Days 5 to 8: Danang, Ba Na Hills and Hoi An

Day 5 carried the couple south. A private car took them to Hanoi airport for the morning flight, and another private pickup waited at Danang airport at arrival, so the flight between 2 cities never became a puzzle. By afternoon, the Vietnam trip with WanderOn had settled into the central coast. Koustav credits the team with coordinating every transfer and getting the couple to each spot on time, so that everything on the ground “ran like clockwork”.
Day 6 began with another early pickup, this time for Ba Na Hills. The cable car climbs into the hills, and the air at the top turns noticeably cooler than on the coast, which is why the French developed Ba Na Hills in the early 1900s as a retreat from the summer heat. The French Village still carries an old-Europe look, and Fantasy Park adds a lighter stretch to the day. The walk onto Golden Hands Bridge, a golden walkway held above the treetops by 2 giant stone hands, is the moment the day builds toward. Lunch was not part of the tour, so that meal was kept separate.
Day 7 was slower, with a late-morning pickup. At the Coconut Forest the couple sat in a basket boat, a round woven bamboo boat paddled by local boatmen through groves of water coconut palms, gentle enough to simply look around. Hoi An Ancient Town followed, a UNESCO World Heritage site of old merchant houses and the Japanese Covered Bridge, best explored without a fixed plan.
The Hoi An tour lasted through the afternoon, so the lantern boat arrived as the day turned to evening. Lanterns glow along the Thu Bon River while small boats drift past the bank. Koustav remembered the “dreamy lantern-lit streets of Hội An”, and the lantern boat placed the couple right inside that scene. It was the last stop of their WanderOn Vietnam couple trip experience, and Day 8 closed with the evening airport drop in Danang.
Experiences That Stood Out for the Couple

A few moments stayed with the couple longer than the rest.
Kayaking across the emerald waters of Ha Long Bay brought the bay within reach, the cycling at Hoa Lu and Tam Coc gave the middle of the trip its calm, and the lantern boat in Hoi An closed the journey with the river glowing around them.
Mondira’s Google review remembers “capturing stunning photos at breathtaking locations” and exploring vibrant streets, while Koustav adds the street food and the warmth of the local people.
What Does This WanderOn Vietnam Couple Trip Experience Imply?

Having a dedicated trip POC on every WanderOn trip is a real help to all our travellers, and Koustav and Mondira’s reviews show why. Somesh Bindal and Shaurya show up in both of our Vietnam couple trip reviews, and the two travellers remember them for different things.
Mondira writes about availability. She says they were always reachable, quick to respond and careful to meet every requirement, and that their coordination gave the whole journey a personal touch.
Koustav writes about patience and detail. In his review, the booking process was free of stress, and the attention to detail was impressive. He also mentions the team checking in during the trip to make sure the couple was having a good time.
On a route with a flight between two cities and several guided days, that support was part of what made the days run easily. To see how other travellers describe their experience, our WanderOn reviews has more of their stories.
