However, visitors should be cautious as the paths may be slippery. If you prefer drier weather, October to March is also a good time, with cooler temperatures and clear skies, though the waterfall’s flow will be less intense.
To reach Wah Kaba Falls by air, the nearest airport is in Shillong, around 60 kilometers away. From there, you can hire a taxi or take a bus to Cherrapunji. By train, the nearest station is in Guwahati, about 150 kilometers from Cherrapunji.
You can then travel by taxi or bus to reach the waterfall. If traveling by road, Cherrapunji is well-connected to Shillong and nearby towns with regular bus and taxi services. Once in Cherrapunji, it’s a short drive to the waterfall parking area.
