7 Days Best of Leh with Nubra Valley and Pangong Lake

Wake up to a pleasant morning in Leh and have your breakfast at the hotel.

We will then get ready and board our transfers to explore the major landmarks in Sham Valley.

Our first stop on the way will be the Hall of Fame, a museum/ war memorial built in memory of the martyrs of the Indo-Pak War that showcases various aspects of high-altitude warfare.

Further, we will stop at the Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, dedicated to Guru Nanak Dev Ji.

Here, we will learn about the fascinating story behind the sacred boulder that has an imprint of Guru Nanak Ji.

Further, we will stop at Magnetic Hill to experience a unique optical illusion that looks like vehicles are rolling uphill.

We will then stop at the famous Sangam point to witness the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers.

Head back to Leh and conclude the sightseeing by visiting the Leh Palace - an iconic fortress that served as a residence to the former kings and royal families.

Next, we will head to the hotel in Leh, and call it a day.

Get ready to board your transfers as we take you to explore the best places to the south of Leh.

Our first stop will be the famous Hemis Monastery which is the wealthiest Buddhist monastery in Ladakh and is famous for its annual Hemis festival.

Next, we will visit the largest monastery of Ladakh - the Thikshey Monastery which is a 12-storey complex and offers spectacular views of the surrounding mountains.

Next, we will continue our journey to visit the Shey Palace which houses a large gold-plated copper statue of Shakyamuni Buddha.

Our last stop for the day will be the popular Rancho School from the movie - 3 Idiots.

Upon completing the sightseeing for the day, head back to the hotel in Leh.

We will then get you ready for the exciting journey on one of the highest motorable roads.

Board your transfers to begin your journey to the Nubra Valley.

Before that, we will stop at the iconic Shanti Stupa for a mesmerizing view of Leh and its surroundings.

Continue the journey further to the iconic Khardung-La - one of the world’s highest motorable pass in the world at a height of 5359 meters.

Continue the journey through the mesmerizing landscapes until we reach Diskit.

Here, we will stop at the Diskit Monastery which is famous for its 106 feet of Maitreya Buddha statue.

Further, we will pass by the Shyok River to reach Nubra Valley, also known as Ldorma or the Valley of Flowers.

Upon reaching Nubra, head to the Hunder Sand Dunes where you can spend time soaking in the views of the cold desert.

You can also enjoy some adventure activities like a double-humped Bactrian camel ride or an ATV ride to explore the deserted land of Hunder.

Complete your sightseeing for the day, and head to your camps/ hotels.

Wake up in the Nubra Valley and get ready for an adventurous journey to the famous Pangong Tso.

While driving, we will cross the charming Agam and Shyok villages from where the Shyok River get its name.

Continue the adventurous journey until we are greeted with the majestic views of the famous Pangong Lake which is the highest saltwater lake in the world.

Pangong Lake is about 4 km wide on average and at least 136 Km long and is located at an altitude of 4300 meters above sea level.

Spend some time around the lake, where you can admire the reflection of the surrounding mountains in the stunning blue lake.

We will then head to check in at our campsite near the lake and have a delicious dinner here.

Overnight stay near Pangong Lake.

Wake up to a beautiful morning with the views of Pangong and have your breakfast.

Get ready and board your transfers as we head back to Leh today.

On the way, we will take a short stop at the Chang La - one of the high-altitude passes in the world which connects Pangong Tso to Leh.

Further, we will pass the popular towns of Karu, Thikshey and Shey until we reach Leh.

Upon reaching Leh, check-in to the hotel and freshen up.

You can then spend the rest of the evening exploring the Leh local market on your own.

Here, you can indulge in shopping, go cafe hopping, and try local delicacies.
